The Soldiers girlfriend (Dear John…)

Amanda wants to break up with her boyfriend John, who is a soldier stationed in the Far East for over a year now.
She writes him a letter: “Dear John, because you are so far away for so long now, I want to end our relationship. I must also admit that I have cheated on you twice. Would you please send my photograph back? Love Amanda”
John reads the letter and asks all of his collegues if they have any photographs of women to spare. He selected the nicest pictures (57) and sent them all to Amanda with the following note:
“Dear Amanda, I can’t remember how you look. Please take your picture and send the rest back. All the best, John”
